More than 125 people showed up from about 12 metro-wide churches, along with other friends of the Care Community, on April 9, 2022 for the first-ever Bowling Fellowship. While this was a significant fundraiser, bringing in about $8,000 through sponsors and modest bowling fees, the over-riding feature was the fun and fellowship they experienced together. It was quite successful!
People in our survey encouraged us to make this an annual event and suggested they would turn out again next year. They indicated they would support the event and hopefully bring some friends! Through the things that were learned, it should grow and be even more successful in years to come. Our tentative date for next year is Saturday, April 22, 2023.
